- Upgraded troll blocks (12) to Delrin sheaves (see below) with extra large bearings and hung with Spectra straps for longevity in marine use; extra spares added.
- Re-rigged troll poles with Spectra line to reduce weight and improve strength and durability.

- April 5: Celebrated our departure plans with friends in Port Townsend at the Pour House
- April 6: Departed Port Townsend and headed north to Alaska via the Inside Passage.

- Stopped in Bishop Bay Hot Springs to warm up!
- Prince Rupert, BC to Ketchikan, AK
- April 14: Arrived in Ketchikan, AK. All went well, only minor damage to the jigger pole which was repaired in Ketchikan.
- April 18: Karen flew back to Juneau, Mike finished up projects and headed north to Juneau in Harmony Isle.
- April 19-29: Mike headed north toward Kake and stopped in at Baranof Hot Springs before arriving at F/V Harmony Isle's new home port in Auke Bay.

- May 12: At Elfin Cove for the King Salmon opener.
- May 15: Mike caught first chromer King Salmon of the season on his birthday!

- June 2: In Elfin Cove for Karen's birthday.
- June 17: Mike fished in Home Shore area of Icy Strait getting used to the drag patterns, and how to untangle gear!
- June 21-July 7: Karen flew to Juneau for a fishing trip.
- June 22-24: Visited Tenakee Springs with friends who bought our sailboat S/V High Noon and enjoyed some time in the hot spring.
- June 24-27: Fished from Tenakee Springs down Chatham Strait. Stopped at Baranof Hot Springs, NOAA Laboratory at Port Walter and Port Alexander. Fished around Cape Ommaney and up the west side of Baranof Island to Goddard Hot Springs.
